LOLC Fool's Charade Fundraiser Sunday, April 1, 2007 at 1:00 PM

The Little Ones Learning Center will hold its second annual Fool’s Charade fundraiser on April 1, 2007, from 1 PM to 5 PM at the Friends and Family II Hillside Restaurant in Accord. A $40 tax-deductible contribution is requested, and all contributions will benefit the Little Ones Learning Center (LOLC).
Last year’s Charades game raised over $1,800 and was used to upgrade the Center’s books and supplies. This year’s Fool’s Charade will feature local celebrity judges, and the festivities will include three rounds of charades for prizes, hors d’oeuvres, a cash bar, and a dinner buffet. Prizes will be donated by Aroma Thyme Bistro, Body of Truth Spas, Rondout Country Club, The Big Cheese, Rosendale Café, The Little Gym and The Bakery with more to come.
“Cheerleaders are most welcome,” said Dr. Simone Harari, chairperson of the event. “You don’t have to play the game. Just show up, eat, cheer and have fun!”
LOLC is a New York State registered 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization founded to address the early literacy needs of children up to six years of age who live in the area in and around the Town of Rochester, NY. LOLC currently provides services to over 200 children, including playtimes, songs, crafts, story times, farm visits, and a lending library of over 3,000 volumes.
