RVGA’s 4th Annual Orchard Dinner and Wine Tasting

Stone Ridge Orchard and Stone Ridge Wine & Spirits are proud to host the Rondout Valley Growers Association’s 4th Annual Dinner and Wine Tasting.~ This is RVGA’s first major fundraising event of 2007 and features a menu of culinary delights created by local chefs using locally grown farm products paired with New York state wines.~ Funds raised directly support RVGA’s general marketing efforts for Rondout Valley farms and farmers.
Stone Ridge residents Tim and Laurel Sweeney, owners of Stone Ridge Wine and Spirits, have donated a premium selection of New York state wines to pair with each dish.
The following chefs/restaurants will take part in the evening, each preparing a dish of culinary excellence: Salah Alygad of Friends and Family ll Hillside Restaurant; John Novi of the Depuy Canal House; Bart Greenbaum of Oscar Restaurant; Tim Celuch of the Northern Spy; Jimmy Smith of The Country Inn of Krumville; Billy Loughlin of Red Brick Tavern; and Molly Rowan of Jack & Luna’s Café. ~We will also be featuring chesses from The Big Cheese.
The event will take place on Saturday June 23rd from 6-9 PM at the orchard in a 40 x 80 festival style tent under Stone Ridge Orchard’s stately old Oak tree. Accommodations will be rustic but elegant, so formal attire is not required. Hors d'oeuvre and champagne begin at 6PM and dinner will be served at 7PM. Music by The Perry Beekman Trio featuring Perry Beekman on Guitar, Lou Pappas on Bass and T Xiques on Drums.
