Public Notice: Town Board Decision on Educational Grants to Individuals
On the advice of the attorney for the Town, the Town Board has decided to discontinue the practice of giving grants to local students to assist in the cost of participating in educational and other programs because such grants use public funds to benefit individual citizens rather than programs in which all residents can participate.
